'City of Torremolinos' Sports Village

If you like sports, the” sports village” of Torremolinos will be one of your favorite places. It is in the high part of the city, between the main road and the motorway, next to the Fair ground, the El Pozuelo football pitch and the Bullring. You can reach it on foot, by train, at the Montemar Alto stop (RENFE line ), you can  come by bus (Urban local TORREMOLINOS service ) or simply cross the road level with Carrefour Costa del Sol or the Town Hall (Plaza de Blas Infante) and walk for a further ten minutes.

The Sports village boasts a great track to practice different branches of athletics, several football fields of natural and artificial turf, four tennis courts, and many others facilities, including paddle, petanque, a rink for artistic skating and even a skate park. The sports village is maintained to the utmost standard so that you can enjoy your chosen sport. In addition, it has two Olympic swimming pools, one of which is outdoor, a therapeutic pool complex and a diving pool. Other acivities include a climbing wall and a space for dog training. Not to mention a large gym, with fitness areas for bodybuilding, cardiovascular workouts, toning and stretching, steam baths and a jacuzzi pool.

These are just some of the multiple facilities offered at this complex, which combined with the good climate of the Costa del Sol, mean that it is frequented by high level teams and numerous professionals in various fields throughout the year.
