The official language is Spanish. However, the impact that tourism has had for many years makes Torremolinos a nearly bilingual area, especially in restaurants and hotels, where the majority of the staff members speak English. A great segment of the population masters or at least has a basic command of the language of Shakespeare. Additionally, the tourist offices will be able to help in Spanish, English, German and French.
