In Torremolinos, as in the rest of Spain, people under 18 years old are not allowed to drink alcohol. Additionally, street drinking is not allowed either. In terms of road safety, the accepted blood alcohol content limit is 0’5 grams per litre.

In spite of the fact that smoking seriously damages health, it is allowed in open spaces. However, smoking inside common use areas such as hotels, hospitals, bars, restaurants, public means of transport, etc. is strictly forbidden. Nonetheless, some of these establishments make special areas available to smokers.

Drugs are psychoactive substances affecting the central nervous system and the brain. Drug intake is strictly forbidden, except in the case of drugs with medicinal purpose and always under medical prescription and taken in private places.
